Hello, my name is Amy Kelly, and I am the founder of Lunara. For over a decade, I have had honor to work as a nurse for critically ill and dying patients.
Over the years, I have noticed a common truth - most families are unprepared for the emotional, medical ,and logistical challenges of the dying process. Whether a terminal diagnosis comes suddenly or is known for some time, a mix of fear, grief and uncertainty often leaves patient's values unclear or unmet. Without a guide, families are left feeling helpless to navigate one of life's hardest journeys alone.
The sudden need to choose palliative or hospice, advocating for the right amount of support, understanding the stages of decline and staying emotionally present for a loved one can feel overwhelming during a time of deep sorrow.
I created Lunara to help lift that burden - offering guidance, clarity and compassionate support for the patient and their families when it is needed the most.
